TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The apparatus consists of a tube in tube type concentric tube heat exchanger. The hot fluid is hot water which is obtained from an electrical geyser & it flows through the inner tube. The Inner Tube Is provided with circular fins throughout the Length. While the cold fluid is cold water, flowing through annulas.The flow rate of hot and cold water are measured by using rotameter. Temperatures at inlet and outlet are measured by using thermocouples and temperature indicator.
