TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :

Smoke Meter is a portable instrument meant to measure smoke density in diesel engine exhaust in conformity with CMVR115/116 as amended upto date. It is certified by ARAI, Pune. Its compactness and light weight are derived from a folded geometry design which is unique to INDUS in India. OMS103 can be operated from the drivers seat by means of a remote unit, which can communicate with the smoke meter through wireless or wired connection. For free acceleration measurements, the engine RPM can be measured by three different sensing methods: clamp-on piezo sensor, battery-based tachometer and magnetically-clamped non-invasive tachometer. A built-in printer is provided to get a hard copy of the results
