TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
For trimming various diameter specimen for triaxial and unconfined compression tests. The lower specimen grip is mounted on a disc which rotates freely. The soil sample is mounted on the lower specimen grip and the upper grip is firmly seated on top of the specimen. The vertical guide can be adjusted to control the depth of cut.
