DESCRIPTION :
The Proposed Twin Roller Module is a Bespoke Test Equipment explicitly proposed for Vehicle Drivability & Speed Tests applications, for Tata Sumo type of Vehicles. The rig is designed to accept single axle [Live] of a Four wheeled test vehicle. The structure is pit –mounted such that the Vehicle is approximately level with the surrounding floor area.
The broad specifications are as follows:-Max. Rig Speed : 120 Kmph
Track width of Vehicle : 1335 -1475 mm Tyre Diameter [Outer] : 460 – 530 mm
Unladen Wt. of Vehicle Permissible: Single Axle < 1200 kgs
Base Inertia of the Module: 200 Kg [100 for each twin roller pair]
- Steady State Speed tests such as Acceleration & Max Speed
- Loaded Test [Proposed Optional for Future Upgradation]
- Rolling movement of the rear wheels ,Drivability in each gear
- Checking of vibrations, noise, leakages & light functioning (only by visual manner by operator and there is no instrumentation)
