DESCRIPTION :
It consists of a cyclone chamber with conical bottom, compressed air is regulated with the help of valve and monitored with the help of orificemeter solids are fed through the the hopper and venturi arrangement. A plastic jar is provided to collect bottoms from the cyclone.

EXPERIMENTAL SETUP :
The cyclone separator is connected to a dust collector at the bottom & dust bed at its inlet. Clean air leaves at the top center. Manometers measure the inlet head & exit head of air entering Hopper, feeds known weight of sand to the duct bed. Air is fed to the inlet via blower ( 1HP ).
