- To study Gear tooth Vernier Calliper.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
It is used to measure the thickness of gear teeth at the pitch line or choral thickness of teeth & the distance from the top of tooth to the chord. The thickness at pitch line & the addendum is measured by an adjustable tongue, each of which is adjusted independently by adjusting screw on graduated bars. The effect of zero errors should be taken onto consideration.
