- To determine Radial & Axial thermal conductivity of test specimen.
- To observe and plot the temperature distribution along the length of the specimen.
- The experiments can be conducted at various values of input & calculationcan be made accordingly.
- To plot Heat input Vs thermal conductivity.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The apparatus consists of Axial and Radial Flow Unit with common Heater. Auto transformer is provided for varying the input to the heater & measurement of input is carried out by a voltmeter, ammeter.
Thermocouples are fixed on surface of specimens.
The experiments can be conducted at various values of input & calculation can be made accordingly.
