- To Calculate the Orificemeter coefficient of given Orifice meter and compare with the reported value in literature.
- To Calculate the Mouthpiece meter coefficient of given Mouthpiece meter and compare with the reported value in literature.
- To Calculate the Coefficient of Velocity of given Mouthpiece meter and Orifice meter.
- To Calculate the Coefficient of Contraction of given Mouthpiece meter and Orifice meter.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The experimental unit consists of an overhead tank with scale, at the bottom of which orifice or mouthpiece can be fixed. a water sump tank with self-priming monoblock centrifugal pump. The flow of water can be controlled by a valve.. A measuring tank is provided for measurement of discharge of water through the Section. A Horizontal and vertical scale is fixed for measurement of flow of jet. This system is complete closed circuit type and easy to move due to wheels.
