TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :

The experimental unit consist of different fitting and joints such as bend, elbow , valve , union , sudden contraction , sudden expansion section fitted on pipes. A water sump tank with self-priming monoblock centrifugal pump. The flow of water can be controlled by a valve. A measuring tank is provided for measurement of discharge of water through the Section. The frictional loss across the fitting and joints are measured by using UTube Manometer. This system is complete closed circuit type and easy to move due to wheels.
