TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :

Main aspect of designing this set up is to demonstrate students the functioning of Load cell so as to measure the load Or force. Hence it is not only provided with Electronic Circuitry & Display but also with required Mechanical Set up. A simple mechanical set up is provided to apply the uni-directional load using a ‘Weight Pan’ type arrangement. Here a standard base on the top of which the fix end of Load cell is fitted, is provided. Where as the other end of Load cell is kept open i.e. with flat lever, so that ‘Weight Pan’ could be attached to it.

Gain for this Instrumentation Amplifier is set so that output shown on Digital Read Out directly shows reading in ‘Kg. Basic Tare Or Zero adjustment is provided to nullify the initial load . And output of this Instrumentation Amplifier stage is given as a input to DPM type Digital Read Out
