RANGE OF EXPERIMENTS TO BE CARRIED OUT :
- To study the Displacement Measurement using Roary Encoder.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :
The simplest and accurate transducer used to measure displacement is potentiometer. This sensor converts linear (or angular ) displacement into electrical signals, by changing its resistance. A potentiometeric transducer is an electromechanical device contains a resistive element which is kept fixed at two ends and a wiper arrangement is made as moveable slider.
