  • To determine Heat transfer rate of heating & cooling.
  • To calculate Effectiveness of Evaporative cooler.
  • The experiments can be conducted at various values of input & calculation can be made accordingly.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION :

The equipment consist of duct in which evaporator coil circulated.2 nos of water sump tanks are provided for hot water and cold water. Hot water is circulated though evaporator coil and cold water sprinkles over evaporator coil. Exhaust fan is provided at the top of the evaporative duct. Temperature of water inlet and outlet are measured. Flow rate of water is measured by using rotameter. entireunt fixed on a panel
